Globalization

Globalization is today one of the most important concepts for our understanding of the contemporary world. This course examines the structures, processes and interactions that make up contemporary globalization in the economy, politics, culture, media, social movements and civil society, migration, and the environment. It considers debates about the historical emergence of globalization and its causes and consequences in everyday life.
