This course will include a thorough exposition and review of special relativity, Lorentz transformations, spacetime and the Minkowski metric, 4-vectors and 4-tensors, the stress-energy-momentum tensor, generalized coordinates, covariant derivatives and the connection (Christoffel symbols), curved spacetimes, parallel transport, the Riemann curvature tensor and the Einstein Equation. Special topics such as black holes may be covered briefly if time permits.
