This course will help you explore and understand the various branches of the field Psychology, reflect on the nuances of your own career identity, integrate the psychological skills you are developing in your respective courses, develop the portfolio you need to start building a career using your BA/BS, or refine your pursuit toward graduate and professional training. You will learn to think strategically about career development (yours and others), and you will learn a variety of techniques for effectively marketing yourself. These include effective resumes and cover letters, “elevator speeches,” professional interviewing, and networking strategies.
