Introduction to Epigenetics

How is it that cells in our body have the same genes, yet are able to perform distinct functions? This is made possible through the epigenetic control of gene expression. This course will give an introduction to the fundamentals of epigenetic control, examine the different molecular players involved, look at the interplay between epigenetic control and the environment and also explore the role of epigenetic deregulation in disease.
