Description
This course was designed to give you a further understanding of the psychological, physiological, and sociological factors related to the thing called LOVE. What is “love”? What are the different stages of love? Why do we love the individuals that we do? Who is more likely to stay or stray from love? Can one’s mind overcome the powerful emotion of love? Why might individuals experience love in various ways? Is dopamine and oxytocin your friend or foe? … Etc. While acquainting you with attachment theories, and research, we will begin to understand why certain relationships between individuals turn out the way that they do (healthy &/or dysfunctional). The course is concerned with each of these areas, and much more. By the end of this course, you should have a better understanding of how to better manage and differentiate the roller coaster of emotions that Love entails.
