Students construct a working knowledge of developmental theories and approaches to assessment in relation to the needs of young children with disabilities in inclusive settings. Students will learn to develop appropriate inclusive settings based on examination of special needs in early childhood literature, knowledge of individual children, inclusive curricula models, classroom management, and working with families, special education itinerant teachers, and early intervention and support agencies in multicultural settings
