Leadership and Mentorship

Catalog Description

The goal of this course is to learn to build a sense of community and provide academic and social support for peers. Students will act as Peer Coaches for students in the Applied Statistics course, PSY 21500. To this end, peer coaches (PCs) and tutors will provide academic and social support for all students, especially those students struggling with material in one of the most essential courses in the psychological field. Students in Leadership & Mentorship will enhance their confidence and develop their teaching and leadership skills, while providing them additional opportunities for data analysis and engagement.
